REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Biomolecular Interaction Technologies Center (BITC) at the University of New Hampshire is soliciting research proposals for funding.

BITC is a National Science Foundation Industry/University Cooperative Research Center established to carry out research in coordination with pharmaceutical or biotechnology company partners. Proposals are funded via industry contributions to the Center; hence, the research must be of interest and importance to these industri
es. Proposals will be accepted until June 1st, 2011 with review and decisions being made in July 2011. For general information, explore the main web site: www.bitc.unh.edu .

The Center currently has two RFPS:  #1 and #2

Research proposals should deal with methods preferably based on first principles that can be used to quantitate the binding interaction between molecular species. Proposals can be for the development of new methods or refinement of existing methodology to make it a practical method. The research should be aimed toward making the technique or method one that could be used on a routine basis for either molecular screening or as an analytical technique.

Submit a proposal via e-mail as an RTF or Word document, or PDF. Include estimated cost, duration of project and credentials.
