Driving from Boston to Portsmouth to UNH

Leaving Logan International Airport in Boston to I-95:

Logan is about 50 miles from Portsmouth. Depending on traffic, it will take you an hour or more.

From Logan Airport, take Rt. 1A North ramp toward Revere/Lynn.
Follow to Rt. 60, then follow signs for Rt. 1 North  (Newburyport).You want to be in the right lane.
Follow Rt. 1 North to I-95 North. Sign reads: New Hampshire & all Maine Points. This is a LEFT exit. Plan ahead!

In Portsmouth, take Exit 5 to Portsmouth/Newington.
This brings you to the Portsmouth traffic circle, where the Best Western and Holiday Inn hotels are located.

To get to Sheraton Harborside, take Exit 7.
Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Market Street.
Sheraton is about a mile up the street on the right.

To get to Courtyard Marriott, take Exit 7.
Turn right onto Market St. After about 1000 feet, turn left onto Michael J. Succi Dr. to change direction  (Market St. is a divided road).
Take an immediate left back onto Market St.
Courtyard Portsmouth is ahead 700 feet.

From Portsmouth to UNH, Durham:

From the traffic circle:

Take the exit to Rt. 4/16 (Spaulding Turnpike).
Drive north to Exit 6W (after the overpass).
Take Exit 6W (Rt. 4) to Durham.
Exit at Rt. 155A and go left at the end of the ramp
.
You are now on Main Street approaching campus from the west.
Take the second left (across from the tennis courts).
At the end of that road bear right and follow the signs to the Visitor Center (on the left).
If you have a visitor pass from BITC, you may park in the Visitor Center lot. If not, go  into the Visitor Center to the Parking Window to get a one-day temporary parking permit (you must have your license plate number for the permit). Put the permit on your car window. You must park legally or your car will be towed.

To go directly to The New England Conference Center from Route 4:
Once on Route 4, go through two traffic lights.
At the third traffic light, take a left onto Madbury Road.
Follow Madbury Road for approximately one mile to the stop sign at the corner of Madbury and Edgewood Roads.
Turn right onto Edgewood Road for approximately 1/2 mile to Strafford Avenue, which is on your left.
Take Strafford Avenue one block and the New England Center is on your right.

On campus:

Plan on walking for 10 minutes to arrive at Rudman Hall.
From the Visitor Center, turn left and walk up the hill over the railroad tracks.
Take a right at the lights onto College Road.
Rudman Hall is on the left near the flashing light.

From the New England Center, turn left onto Edgewood Road.
Cross Main Street. Turn left onto College Road at the lights.
Rudman Hall is on the left near the flashing light.
